I don’t say it nearly enough, but thank you very much to everyone that has submitted images to the site. There is no way I could have accomplished this by myself and I appreciate everyone’s help more than I can say.
Occasionally, I have to set aside a submission or a few images and I wanted to explain why.
- I will never knowingly post a set with multiple qualities. I realize that it is very useful to be able to see the differences even when someone can’t craft an entire set, but it’s just too confusing to try to explain in this medium.
- If the exact same set (same material tier, level, quality, and gender) already exists on the site, I won’t post it again. The only exception to this is if the new images are a significantly better quality than the original.
- Sometimes I just can’t understand what’s been submitted. Usually this is because of an accidental click on the form and the submitter didn’t include an email so I could verify the information.
- Early on, we decided each set would take up no more than 1 line on a post. This was because a single material tier could easily have 10 (or more) different color combinations. Double that for both genders, and then double it again for the light armor sets and we are now up to 40+ different sets of images on one post. We also found out that 7 was the maximum number of images that would fit on one line, which is why you can only submit 7 images at a time. Unfortunately, 7 images only fits if you crop them as close to the body as possible (which is why tails often get cropped out) and there are no more than 3 close shots. I realize people like the 45 degree profile shots, but those take up significantly more room than a 90 degree shot, so sometimes I have to discard those.
Here’s the tracking spreadsheet, which shows which posts still need a Post Patch 1.1.2 update. And here’s where we stand on updated images and posts still needed.
